Our staff is trained and certified to provide all consumers with the quality of services they require. All staff are thoroughly screened including a background and reference check. Extensive hands-on training is provided at hire and continuing education is required. We have RN’s and CNA’s on staff as well as team of caregivers.
CJ Kimfon
CEO
C.J Kimfon RN MSN MBA has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. CJ is a Mastered Prepared Registered Nurse licensed with the State of Michigan and across the US. His experience in psychiatric nursing and public health nursing is invaluable to the work he is doing now. As a Captain in the United States Army he has been serving his country in the Reserves for 7 years.
His background includes a Master of Science in Nursing, a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing Management. He also holds a Master’s Degree in international business law. CJ is a true people person -you will most often find him talking to residents, trying to fix their computer to download photos of grandkids – he truly enjoys what he does!!
MaryBeth
Executive Administrator
Marybeth has worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years. She is a registered nurse specializing in psychiatric care. Her experience includes in-home care, long term care and floor nursing as well as caring for her own family. Marybeth loves listening to and talking with all of our residents. Her background includes a degree in advertising from Michigan State University.
Frannie
Home Manager
Frannie has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field working in nursing home settings. Her attention to detail and personal care and attention to each of our residents is truly amazing. Our residents love her home cooked meals!
McKenna
CARE AIDE
Makenna started with American Angels several years ago as a volunteer and liked it so much she stayed on as an employee. “I really love how it feels like one big family here.” She really enjoys engaging the residents in playing games and getting active. Makenna is attending Mid Michigan College working on a degree in nursing and playing on their softball team.
Amiya
CARE AIDE
Amiya is a junior nursing student who is very passionate about taking care of our residents. She brings her positive personality and smile everyday. Amiya is currently attending University of Michigan pursuing a nursing career. In her free time she loves to travel, shop and explore new places with her family and friends.
Maddie
Intern/Care Aide
Madeline is a very passionate CNA She loves engaging with our residents in crafts and activities. Her speciality is assisting residents with their personal goals in exercise and mobility. She is attending SVSU to pursue a career in nursing. In her free time she enjoys playing softball.
Desiree
Senior Care Aide
Desiree has over 10 years of experience in healthcare. She has dedicated herself to caring for family members while providing top quality care at a number of nursing facilities over the years. Her kind heart and genuine compassion for those in need shines in her every day work. She is a good listener and makes time for every resident so she can get to know them personally.
